Attendance

The Chandler's Ford cluster of schools work closely together to encourage good attendance for all children. We have developed the following leaflet together which outlines attendance procedures, ensuring consistency for all children.

Late Procedure

If you arrive after 8:50am for school the classroom doors will be locked, so bring your child to the school office to sign them in. If you arrive after 9.10am your child will be recorded as an unauthorised absence.

Absence Procedure

We understand that children will be unwell sometimes. If your child is not well enough to come to school, please phone the office before 9.30am on 023 80252655 or email us.

Requests for holiday leave in term time cannot be authorised, but requests for exceptional reasons may be authorised after careful consideration by the Head Teacher. Please use the application form below to request an absence due to exceptional circumstances. We keep you informed of your child’s attendance on a termly basis and work with families in times of difficulty to continue to promote good attendance
