Merdon Junior School

Most of the Year 2 children transfer from our school to Merdon Junior School, but this is not an automatic right. Parents and Carers have to complete an application form in the same way as when initially applying for a place at Chandler's Ford Infant School. We have a close liasion with Merdon and regular meetings are held to ensure continuity of education.

Chathealth is for parents of children and young people in Hampshire aged 5-19 and offers a a simple, convenient and confidential text messaging service. Parents can access this service to get support and advice by texting a message to 07507 332417. The service is available Monday to Thursday 9am - 4.30pm, Friday 9am - 4pm (excluding bank holidays). The school nurses respond within 1 working day. The team can support with questions relating to health, wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, toileting, behaviour, sleep, emotional wellbeing and health conditions. They can also signpost to appropriate services for other support.
