Internet safety

It is important to us that we teach the children to keep themselves safe online as well as having procedures in place to safeguard them in school.  Our procedures are covered by the following:

• Children develop own class Computing charters each year
• Parental permission sought for use of photographs on website and other media
• Internet safety is woven through our Computing curriculum
• E-safety day held on a yearly basis
• We hold a yearly 'un-plugged' week where we teach the children how to reduce their use of technology
• Web filtering in place through Hampshire provider
