Our caretaker, Mr Waren, has been very busy before and during the Easter holidays building a dipping pond. This is a project that our school has been planning for some time in order to diversify our wildlife and to give the children the opportunity to investigate water-life. The pond is set above the ground so the children will stand to do their pond dipping and it is set in an area that the children are not able to access unsupervised. We are very grateful to Mr Waren for making the pond completely from scratch and we hope the wildlife will love it as much as we do! Here are some photos of the project from the outset to completion.
