Iceberg Ahead!
This half-term the children will be history detectives and explore the enquiry question Why did the Titanic sink? The children will be using role-play, photographs, information books and historical extracts to draw their own conclusions. At the end of our learning journey, Year 2 will be visiting the SeaCity Museum to consolidate our understanding of this historical event and have the valuable hands-on experience of visiting a museum, exploring artefacts and talking to experts about the Titanic.
Cedar Class had lots of fun on Tuesday having pancake races!
Beech and Cedar Classes all had a great time today, visiting the SeaCity Museum. What an amazing group of Titanic experts we now have at our school!
