Welcome to Year 2!

We are so proud of how well the children have settled into their new classes this term!

Please can your child bring their book bag, 'Love to Learn' reading book in their folder, reading record and a named water bottle into school every day.

Our PE days are on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Reading books

The children will be given a 'Learn to Read' book, this is a book that the children will be familiar with and will read daily in class. Please try and read this book daily at home. This is to improve their reading fluency and avoid sounding out when it is not necessary. 

Library day is going to be on a Monday.

Please could you make sure that all items of clothing, including PE kits, are named.
