Curriculum

Our whole school curriculum intent.

Our school provides a broad and balanced curriculum, rich in first hand experiences for all year groups.

We develop our children's learning through our school values of:

Thriving:  Children will develop a positive sense of themselves within a caring school community.  They will be able to communicate how they are feeling to a trusted adult and their peers.

Respect:  Children learn to be respectful of themselves and others, valuing differences in our community and beyond and working collaboratively with their peers.

Engaging and enjoying:  Children enjoy the process of learning and are motivated, focused and engaged.  They understand how effort, challenge and overcoming obstacles contribute to the joy of learning.

Success:  Children show resilience through a growth mindset; are able to reflect on their learning and independently talk about their achievements with pride.
