Ofsted and Performance Data

Ofsted Inspection 2016

We were inspected by Ofsted on January 19th 2016

"This school continues to be good."

Staff parents and governors are very pleased with the outcome of good. There is a range within any category and the HMI, Mathew Barnes, shared his findings at the end of his Inspection, informing us that he had considered outstanding but judged us to be in a very good place within “good”.  We are delighted with this and can see improvements since our Ofsted of 2011.  The Ofsted framework changes frequently so to be judged continuing to be good is no mean feat. These comments are highlights for us:

“The early years provision is excellent”

"A culture of high expectations where the needs of every individual pupil are catered for"

“Teachers work hard to make lessons interesting and fun”

“Pupils achieve well”

“Pupils behave exceptionally well”

“The quality of teaching is consistently good and sometimes better”

“Teaching assistants are deployed strategically and make a difference to the learning experience of pupils”

“Pupils continue to make good progress from their starting points”

“Leadership and management are very effective”

“Provision for pupils who have disabilities or special educational needs is very well managed”

“Safeguarding arrangements are well led and effective”

“Governors provide effective support and challenge to leaders”

Come and visit our school and see what a great place it is!
