Summer 1

Our next topic will is entitled "The Secret Garden". During this topic we will be learning all about plants, local environments and we will be using extracts from Frances Hodgson Burnett's book which takes this title. This topic will have a strong science focus and we will be using the natural world to inspire our art, music and English. We will also be finding out more about Hillier Gardens in our geography and we are excited about our school trip there on Thursday 18th May. Alongside this topic we will be learning about digital writing in ICT and in P.E we will be beginning Athletics. We are really excited about all of the learning that is going to take place this half term and it is a wonderful topic for exploring the delights of learning outside.
