Training

There are three Designated Safeguarding Leads in school; Mrs Strong (HT),  Ms Holmes (DHT) and Mrs Brokenshire.

Designated Safeguarding Leads attend training biennially.

All staff have annual Safeguarding training linked to the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education  and Working Together to Safeguard children.

All staff undertake Prevent training.

Regular safeguarding updates are given to staff and governors during meetings.

Weekly business meetings and staff meetings provide an opportunity for key messages to be shared.

Safeguarding forms part of our Induction Procedure for new staff.
