These are just some of the comments we received from parents, following a survey in June 2021.
Utterly thrilled with CFIS, it is fabulous. Our son is in Acorn class and we could not have wished for a more positive experience. He loves school and loves learning.
CFIS is a lovely size - with just 2 classes in Year R it didn't seem too daunting for my daughter, but also isn't then too small.
We were happy with the 2 classes per year and the smaller school. The teachers and staff are friendly and approachable.
After visiting it was extremely clear that the school had a positive and nurturing philosophy where we knew our son would settle in.
The small personal and village style school as opposed to large corporate.
I like the village school feel, personal and caring environment.
Sibling went through the school and we were extremely pleased. Lovely feel to it and fantastic staff!
Despite it being our catchment school, we chose CFIS as my other daughter had attended and we'd had a good experience throughout her time there. Initially, we chose CFIS because it has a lovely warm, friendly community feel. It feels like the children have fun at CFIS which we felt essential at the infant school level, for providing a strong foundation to develop a love of learning for the rest of their education.
We are particularly impressed with Mrs Strong. She is always visible and approachable at pick up and drop off. When communicating with her about a couple of small issues, common sense has always prevailed and it is clear that the welfare of the children are her top priority.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this school and will be very sad to see my son leave later this year.
Fantastic school, everyone is really caring and clearly passionate about education.
It's a lovely school and my children have loved being part of it. I enjoy the strong sense of community it has, and the supportive parent network I've found too.
Thank you to EVERYONE involved in CFIS.
